Description

Up for offer is an unusually large gold-toned US military uniform Great Seal eagle button with an uncommon French backmark. From the look of the back I would date it to WWI era, but could be WWII. It's probably a coat button. Please note I describe it as 'large' in terms of being decently larger than most great seal buttons, not NBS large. The button is in excellent condition. Backmark is G.J. & F - Paris. It measures just under 1 and 1/4 inches / 30 mm across. Be sure to check out the other buttons I have listed!
