Description

Vintage 1970's bold abstract print caftan by international fashion designer, Catherine Ogust for Penthouse Gallery in New York. This beautiful caftan dress, made in Japan, features a mandarin neckline, 3/4 sleeves, braided fabric-covered buttons, slip-in side pockets and side slits 20" in length at each ankle. Caftan is marked "One Size" so please review the photo depicting the actual measurements to ensure an accurate fit. It is in excellent condition, very likely new and never before worn but there seems to be a manufacturing defect on back of dress where the ink on the Ogust signature seems to have been dragged; a small white mark on upper back where ink seems to not have taken and a tiny spot near lower right side slit (see last 3 photos). This caftan dress/coverup is truly a stunning work of art and will definitely have its wearer stand out in a crowd!
