Description

Beautiful very rare Czech Vintage cadmium hand pressed collectible glass button, made in the 1930's. Beautiful elephant design. As it is hand pressed and finished it will not be as perfect as later or new buttons. It has some minor chips on the rim. Very rare collectible. It is bright yellow, under UV light it beautifully glows bright orange. One of ´attic / underground´ Bohemian treasures from Jablonec (Gablonz), previous Czechoslovakia. There are still jewellery treasures to be found in Czech Republic in the well known town of Jablonec (previous Gablonz). New old stock hidden away for many decades. This is one of them, never worn, original 1930´s pre WW 2nd pressed glass button. I am Bohemian vintage and antique jewellery collector located in Slovakia. My collection is a part of museum exhibition. It is my hobby.
