Description

A very rare and fine example of a Georgian silver sporting button with steeplechase horse racing decoration. Hallmarked makers mark only of Gothic JB - Possibly John Bracker of Liverpool c1740 - 1750 (see Jackson's page 400). Excellent condition. Very finely engraved. No damage or wear. Initials to the back of the button as shown. Dimensions: 2.8cm x 2.8cm Weight: 7g
